Welcome to the World Malayalee Cultural & Welfare Association of Canada, a distinguished Cultural Organization dedicated to serving the vibrant Indian Community, with a special focus on Malayalees residing in the Wild Rose Country of Alberta. World Malayalee Cultural & Welfare Association of Canada was established in 2023 and incorporated under the Alberta Society Act.

Our association embraces the term “Malayalee” to encompass individuals with personal, parental, ancestral, or family connections to the rich tapestry of arts, culture, literature, language, and sports originating from the beautiful state of Kerala in the Republic of India.
Our primary mission is to foster a deep appreciation and understanding of Kerala’s culture and traditions within the Malayalee community in Alberta. Through a myriad of meticulously planned initiatives, the organization takes pride in organizing a diverse array of cultural events, festivals, and activities. These endeavors serve as platforms to showcase the essence of Kerala’s art, music, dance, cuisine, and literature, creating a tapestry that reflects the cultural vibrancy of this South Indian state.

At the core of our existence is the commitment to preserving and celebrating Kerala’s unique cultural heritage within the diaspora community. The World Malayalee Cultural and Welfare Association of Canada plays a pivotal role in uniting Malayalees, providing a sense of belonging, and acting as a catalyst for the transmission of Kerala’s cultural legacy to future generations. Through our collaborative efforts, we strive to build bridges between diverse communities, fostering cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
WMCWAC, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to inclusivity, sincerely esteems and acknowledges every individual, irrespective of their caste, creed, religion, color, economic status, or any other distinguishing factors that make our association unique.
Join us on this enriching journey as we endeavor to weave the vibrant threads of Kerala’s cultural heritage into the multicultural fabric of Alberta. Together, let’s celebrate diversity, foster cultural pride, and create lasting connections within the World Malayalee community in Canada.
